Which devices can I use Akoua on?

Every client is published: the web app, the Windows and Mac desktop apps, the iPhone and Apple Watch app — with wrist control of recordings from the companion watch app — and the Android app, all under one subscription. Clinical access is open in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and coming soon elsewhere.

Published clients

• Web app — the full product in your browser: capture, review, letters, tasks and, for Australian organisations, billing hints. Nothing to install, passkey sign-in.
• Windows — the full desktop scribe, for the consult room and for telehealth: it captures both sides of a Zoom or Teams consult. Get it from the Microsoft Store.
• Mac — the same desktop scribe on macOS, on an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 14.4 or later. Get it on the App Store.
• iPhone and Apple Watch — the in-room capture app. Start, stop and check a recording from the wrist while your iPhone stays in your pocket. Get it on the App Store.
• Android — the in-room capture app on a phone, with the same capture, flags and review queue as iPhone. No Wear OS companion yet. Get it on Google Play.

Mac, iPhone and Apple Watch are one universal purchase on a single App Store listing, so buying any of the three covers all three. One subscription covers every device either way.

One subscription, and the same rules everywhere

One subscription covers all your devices. A subscription started inside a mobile app is billed by that app store at a price that already includes the tax that applies where you are, and managed and cancelled in that store’s settings; everything else is billed via Stripe. The intended use is identical on every platform. A watch or phone may capture the conversation, but no note is committed anywhere without your explicit review and confirmation — the same consent gates, the same [not stated] discipline, the same audit trail.
