Sovereignty and consent
Processing profiles, consent prompts, and who decides for your organisation.
AU Sovereign, Global and UK Sovereign differ in where records are stored and where audio and transcripts are processed. UK Sovereign is live for United Kingdom organisations.
Clinical records are stored in Sydney on AU Sovereign and Global, and in London on the UK Sovereign region; processing location depends on the profile.
On AU Sovereign, vetted Australian services are the engine, under the consent your organisation gives for that processing — a separate, per-session acceptance is asked only for anything beyond that.
The United Kingdom region — the clinical record stored in the UK, with transcription and note drafting on named providers in the European Union.
United Kingdom onlyStorage stays in the UK; transcription and note drafting run in the European Union under UK adequacy for the EEA. Remote support access from Australia is exceptional, scoped and audited.
United Kingdom onlyThe published sub-processor list is the authoritative answer — every provider, what it does, and where. Practices get 30 days' notice of changes and may object.
United Kingdom onlyAn index of the published UK documents, the technical and organisational measures behind them, and the honest list of what Akoua does not yet hold.
