Akoua 1.1.4 for Mac is a desktop-polish release: the app opens when you ask for it, stays quiet when macOS starts it for you, and gives the Review workspace a cleaner shape at every window width.
Dock launch means open the app
Opening Akoua from the Dock, Finder or Spotlight now opens the full app window, even when Launch at Login is enabled.
The login item remains deliberately different. When macOS starts Akoua as you sign in to the computer, it stays in the menu bar without putting a full window in your way. Deliberate launch and background startup now behave like the two different actions they are.
A Review toolbar that fits
Draft status, note style and Re-draft now compose as one responsive toolbar. At the default Mac window size the controls form two balanced rows; at wider widths they settle into a single row; and narrow panes fall back without overlap.
The same A− / A+ controls used on Windows are now pinned into the Mac capture surface too. The chosen transcript size persists, so the app keeps the reading size you prefer.
A more finished workspace
Long lists and review content now fade gently into the warm bone canvas near the bottom of the window instead of ending in a hard cut. The final bone gap is smaller too, keeping the breathing room without making the app look unfinished.
The Akoua Cloud selector has also been cleaned up, with Australia and New Zealand explained plainly rather than hidden behind a generic cloud label.
Recording, telehealth capture, draft review and confirmation otherwise work as before. Every generated item remains a draft until you review and confirm it.
