Akoua 1.1.4 for iPhone makes the path into the app clearer and calmer, while keeping the recording and review workflow familiar.
Your practice country, before you sign in
On a fresh install, Akoua now asks for your practice country before sign-in. The welcome screen keeps the selected country visible, makes it clear how to change it, and sends password links and passkeys to the matching Akoua service.
Australia and New Zealand appear as their own choices. Both use Akoua’s Australian service, but the app remembers the country you actually chose instead of collapsing the two into a generic region.
A calmer welcome
The first screen has been refined with warmer bone colour, quieter spacing and clearer wording. Company provenance, hosting and processing are presented as separate facts, so a short line does not blur where Akoua was made with where a practice’s information is handled.
Account deletion stays reachable
The Delete Account page now reserves enough space above the floating navigation bar. Its final action can scroll fully into view instead of sitting underneath the menu, including on a real iPhone with the standard tab layout.
Apple Watch remains the companion
This release is mainly an iPhone onboarding and account-screen update. The Apple Watch app continues to start, stop and show the status of a recording running on the paired iPhone.
Recording, draft review and confirmation otherwise work as before. Every generated note, letter or task remains a draft until you review and confirm it.
