Akoua 1.1.6 for iPhone keeps account setup, Settings and medication review in step with the choice or record in front of you. The Apple Watch companion remains aligned with the phone.
Country changes take effect straight away
Changing your practice country from the United Kingdom to Australia now refreshes self-service signup immediately. Create your account appears without closing and reopening the app.
The welcome footer changes at the same time, showing the Australian hosting and processing wording instead of retaining the previous UK wording. Country selection remains explicit: Akoua uses the service you chose rather than silently deciding from location.
Settings stays quiet while it loads
Opening Settings now loads your existing default note template without saving it again. That removes the delayed second haptic that could arrive after the normal tab acknowledgement.
Choosing a different template still saves deliberately and gives one acknowledgement after the change succeeds.
Duplicate medicines get an honest check
If a medicine change is spoken but the patient record already lists that medicine twice, Review now says Listed twice and asks you to re-read the record. It does not offer Apply, because changing both matching rows would not be a safe assumption.
Akoua continues to show what it found and leaves the record decision with the clinician.
Apple Watch stays in step
The Apple Watch companion remains version-aligned with iPhone for paired-phone recording controls and status. This update does not add a Watch-only interface or standalone recording.
Confirmation stays with you
Every generated note, letter or task remains a draft until you review and explicitly confirm it.
