Four things that don't depend on your discipline.
The words appear on screen while you talk, in a consultation the patient has consented to record.
Anything it wasn't sure it heard, or couldn't place cleanly, is marked for your eye rather than smoothed over.
Nothing is saved until you have read the draft and confirmed it. It is a documentation aid, not a decision-maker.
Deleted by default the moment you confirm the note, with a QR deletion receipt the patient keeps.
The tuning underneath is Australian and GP-shaped.
The clinical layer Akoua has been tuned against is general practice in Australia: PBS and AMH drug vocabulary, MBS billing hints, and letters drafted with RACGP conventions in mind. Those are the surfaces a GP recognises, and they are the ones that exist today.
There are no discipline-specific note or letter formats yet — no physiotherapy assessment structure, no chiropractic or podiatry template, nothing shaped for a psychology session. The transcript, the flags, the confirmation step and the deletion receipt all work exactly as described above; the scaffolding around the note does not yet know what you practise.

Where the note ends up.
Cliniko — the practice software many allied health clinics already run — connects directly today. Nookal is currently disabled. Everywhere else, the confirmed note copies across in one click — and we'll call something integrated only once it is.
